Why we built it
We had built website-to-app converters and HTML-to-APK tools used by tens of thousands of people, and kept hearing the same thing from the people who did not use them: "I don't have a website. I just have the idea." Drag-and-drop builders were the answer on paper and a slog in practice — hours placing widgets, evenings fighting logic editors, and at the end an app that lived on someone else's servers.
Language models changed what was possible. Not "generate some code" — that is a party trick — but an agent that asks the right questions, writes a structure, generates one screen at a time and edits only what you point at. We built that, put it inside a real native Android shell so the preview is the app, and made the export a complete project you own.
What we believe
- You own what you make. The export has no builder SDK, no phone-home, no licence. If we disappeared tomorrow, your app would still build.
- Apps should ask for what they use. Capability-driven exports carry only the permissions and libraries their features need. That is better for users and it makes Play review honest and short.
- Pay for work, not for months. Credits by usage, a free start, no subscription.
- The preview is the app. Real tabs, real back button, real permission prompts, on your phone.
Who we are
SoftSpring is an independent developer studio. We publish AI App Builder and a family of app-making tools on Google Play, and we write the guides on this site ourselves, from building and publishing apps rather than from reading about it.
